The Ashe County school system is comprised of three elementary schools, one community middle school, and one large high school serves the entire county. All of the administrators, teachers and ancillary staff of each of these schools are committed to each child’s development and academic success, and they employ several procedures and programs throughout the year to help accomplish this goal. Because the surrounding areas are so small, many members of the larger community come together to help volunteer and provide a well rounded education to the Ashe County schools' many students.
