Situated in between Paddy Mountain and high rising Mount Jefferson is a splendid place—a place where you can forget your worries, enjoy the mountain air, and spend some time contemplating the simple, yet finer things in life. Ashe County is a special and unique place. Take a look around the site, check out the views from the two West Jefferson Web Cams, and if you are looking for homes or land for sale in the area, give Josh a call at his office and he can help you with all your needs for real estate in Ashe, Alleghany, and Watauga Counties..

Many long time clients, and friends love to know what’s happening even when they are not in the mountains, and that’s where the idea of setting up a West Jefferson Web Cam came about. People love to check out the happenings in Downtown West Jefferson and most everyone wants to know what the weather here is like, so the decision was made to showcase the area by utilizing a live webcam. You can click to the cams to find out what’s going on in the area, check traffic, current weather, and of course, view the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains. One of the cams is located in Downtown West Jefferson near my office and the other is located at Jefferson Landing, a fantastic, master planned golf course ommunity where I list and sell homes and other types of property.

What Will I See?

The view from the downtown West Jefferson Cam captures the main intersection in downtown West Jefferson, the center of commerce for Ashe County. It is located right by Town Hall, in fact. This exceptional view is great because you can see the happenings and goings on in town, and you can also see views of the beautiful Mt Jefferson in the background. Mt Jefferson is an enormous peak that overlooks the twin towns of West Jefferson and Jefferson below. Feel free to watch the downtown West Jefferson Web Cam and visit back as often as you like. Stop by Josh’s office and introduce yourself.

The other great web cam is located on the 18th hole fairway and green of Jefferson Landing Club. You can see both the fairway, the greens, and the practice greens in the shot. Watch this cam and you can see golfers playing the last hole during the height of the mountain golf season, which typically begins when the weather gets a bit warmer in mid to late April and ends when the crisp fall air turns frigid in October. When the camera is not pointing to the 18th hole it is pointed towards some of the views of the amazing, scenic surroundings at Jefferson Landing Club. Call and schedule a tee time today. It’s a wonderful course to play and it’s always beautiful here!
